L. Furne Allen

L. Furne Allen, 100, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away May 6, 2018 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born October 22, 1917 in Ashland, Nebraska to Walter and Essie (Mayhor) Vosler. Furne married Orla K. Allen in Cheyenne on August 4, 1943. She is survived by her children, Julia (Mark) Ruppert, Jay (Joanne) Allen, Ben (Fern) Allen and Dan Allen, all of Cheyenne, and Sam (Bonnie) Allen of Ft. Laramie, WY; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild. She was preceded by her husband; parents; daughter, Patsy (John) Moritz; three brothers; three sisters; and grandchild, Katrina LaBonte. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with a reception to follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
