Lillian Wilson Chamberlain Jantz, 95, of Cheyenne passed away peacefully on November 22, 2014 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born March 2, 1919 in Buffalo, NY to Robert and Emma Chamberlain. She married Rudolph A. Jantz on June 9, 1949 in Buffalo, NY. She was a member of the Northwoods Presbyterian Church, Betsy Ross-Levant Chapter #695 Order of Eastern Star in Buffalo, Military Wives Association, Western New York Genealogy Society, Hamburg, NY Historical Society, Madison County, NY Historical Society, Cheyenne, WY Genealogy Society, Buffalo and Erie County Historical Societies, and a former Foster Parent of the Casey Family Program. Lillian was a voracious reader, gifted artisan of needlepoint and cross stitch. Her hobbies included genealogy, bridge, travel, cooking and baking. She is survived by her children and extended family, Karl E. Jantz of Sheridan, WY, Karen L. Denniston of Cheyenne, WY, Paul B. Jantz of San Marcos, TX, Paul J. Lincoln of Cheyenne, WY, Rob (Crystal )Humble of Cheyenne, WY, Scott (Leanna) Humble of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, Matthew Jantz, John Garrett, Marc (Addie) Denniston, Brian Denniston, Melanie Lincoln, Christian Humble, Noah Humble, Abigail Humble , Eva Humble and Olivia Humble; great-grandchild, Aeryk Denniston. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters, Julia Spaulding and Ethel Lee. Memorial Services were Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Northwoods Presbyterian Church, 4723 Griffith Ave., Cheyenne with Pastor Milan Norgauer officiating. Cremation is under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
