Linda Jaennette Foss, 65, passed peacefully at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne WY on July 5, 2016, one day before her 66th birthday, with family by her side. Linda was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 6, 1950 to Clara Jaennette and Nils Foss. She grew up in Iowa, but spend much of her adult life between Minnesota and Wisconsin. She is survived by her daughter, Aimee Schlenker and her husband Brandon Finefrock, their two children, Hailey and Tyler; her daughter Anna Schlenker and her husband Anthony DeSomma, their two children Zoey and Ava; her siblings Mike Jaennette, Ron Jaennette, Cathy Powers, Eugene Foss, Anna Davison, Burns Davison, William Davison, Robert Davison, her aunt Ruth Buffalo, aunt JoAnn Headley, her other mother Sue Jensen, Granville Williams, her cat Riley, and family and friends too numerous to list but not forgotten. Filled with compassion and kindness, Linda was known to many as a great friend. She found joy in many ways. While in high school Linda played the accordion, was on the swim team and step team. She was an avid reader and loved music and dancing. Linda's talent and passion was putting her creative touch on the world around her. She loved to laugh and her sense of humor was contagious. As a devout Green Bay Packer fan, she was a "cheese head" fanatic through and through. Linda found fulfillment in her faith as a Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed sharing her faith with her Brothers and Sisters. If she was here today she would want us all to remember Revelation 21:3, 4 which promises of a future time when death, pain, and tears will be no more. She passed away of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The family would like to thank those that cared for her at the Davis Hospice Center over the last five months. In honor of her life, donations may be made in her name to the ALS Community of Hope tribute fund. http://web.alsa.org/site/TR/Personal/General?px=7358791&pg=personal&fr_id=10054#.V36gJfROKnM In lieu of a funeral, Linda's life will be celebrated in Newton, Iowa in the near future.
