Linda L. Stone

Linda L. Stone of Cheyenne, passed away on April 05, 2023 at Davis Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family. Born as Linda L. Hutchison on May 15, 1944 to Richard and Mildred Hutchison.

From a young age Linda participated in several Little Theater melodramas as well as Little Stars of Tomorrow performances. She was also the Ms. Wyoming runner up in the late 1950's. Linda and her sister were the best dancers around, as their dad taught square dancing, the jitter-bug, the waltz, and many more. Linda graduated from Central High School and married her high school sweetheart Bill Stone on September 16, 1966. Linda became an insurance agent with Rocky Mountain Capitol, where she remained until she retired after 25 years. In later years she worked with the Cheyenne Housing Authority and Great lakes aviation.

Linda is survived by her daughter Shaunna Stone, her granddaughters Danika Stone, Tiana Stone, and Chloe Stone as well as her great grandchildren Nadia and Aiden Gomez, Korbin and Kordai Stone. She is also survived by Bill Stone, her sister Roberta Kavinsky, her nephew Stephen and Marianne Escobedo and many grand nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her son Lester Reed, and a grandson.
