Lloyd Williams

Lloyd L. Williams, 62, passed away February 24, 2011 at Cheyenne Regional Medic al Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Lloyd was born August 13, 1948 in Sonoma, California, the son of Farrell and Bernice (Baker) Williams. On August 11, 1997 Lloyd married Lorraine E. Schutt (Pinkerton) in Lusk, Wyoming. Lloyd joined the U. S. Army in 1967. He worked most of his life farming, ranching and driving semi-trucks delivering mail. Lloyd enjoyed boating and fishing, he enjoyed taking his grandchildren out in the boat fishing and just being crazy on the water to give them a thrill. He was always doing something, building things, putting things back together that someone else had started but didn't finish. There never seemed to be anything he could not do. Lloyd will be missed by his many family and friends. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father Farrell, his mother Bernice and his brother Jim Williams. Survivors include his wife Lorraine, son Lloyd F . Williams (Fawn), daughter Debbie Drewey, daughter Cheryl Williams, son David Williams, son Joshua Williams, stepdaughters Candice McCart, Carleen Gregory and Carin Riley (Carl), brother Louis Williams (Beverly), sister, Carolyn Raines (David), sister, Verna Floyd (Loren), sister, Ella Coffman, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers family has asked that donations be made to the Lloyd Williams Memorial Fund in care of Lorraine Williams. Memorial services will conducted on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel with Pastor Roger Rapp officiating. An interment service will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery.
