Lois A. Mosher, 88, of Cheyenne died February 6, 2012 in Aurora, CO. She was born June 27, 1923 in Kimball, NE, to Leonard and Eva Smith. At the age of three, her family moved to a farm near Fort Collins, CO where she attended school through eighth grade, and then moved to Cheyenne, WY, where she graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1941. She married Daniel Mosher on November 3, 1951. Together they raised wheat on the original family farm near Kimball. She also worked at FE Warren Air Force Base, retiring in 1978 from the Civil Service. She was a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. Lois was a member of Rebekah Lodge, Mizpah Chapter #36, of the Order of Eastern Star most of her adult life, holding many office positions. She loved to spend time with family and friends through family outings, organizations, and especially weekly meetings with the Card Club and church group. She is survived by her children, Leonard (Avis) Mosher of Cheyenne, Janice (Wayne) Herrell of Aurora, CO and Stan Mosher of Cheyenne; sisters, Betty L. Wood of Fort Collins, CO and Alberta (Wayne) Perry of Littleton, CO; and grandchildren, Jacob Mosher, Amanda Mosher, Dr. Jennifer Mosher, Catherine Mosher, Benjamin Herrell, Morgan Herrell, Bryan Herrell and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Mosher; son, Stephen Mosher, parents, Leonard and Eva Smith. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home on Saturday. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Bob Garrard officiating.
