Lois Nordberg

Lois E. Nordberg, 80, of Cheyenne passed away March 7, 2017, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Lois was born March 31, 1936, in Coos Bay, Oregon, to George and Sue Cook. Lois was married to Dean Nordberg in 1953. They later divorced. She worked for the BLM retiring in 2003. Survivors include sons, Eric Nordberg of Cheyenne and Tim Nordberg (Ray) of Los Angeles, California; sister, Carol (Dean) Englert of Cheyenne; sister-in-law, Marjorie Mailey of Sheridan, Montana; son-in-law, Kevin (Lauri) Delaney of Cheyenne; grandson, Anthony (Toni) Galligan of Loveland, Colorado; grandson, Sean Delaney (Aaron) of Cheyenne, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Arlene Delaney, and nieces, Tammy and Kelly Englert. At Lois's request, no services will be held. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Uncle Charlie's on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CFD Volunteer Crisis Fund or the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum.
