Born: June 27, 1920 Died: November 05, 2010 Services: A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral. An interment service will be held in South Dakota at a later date. Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Visitation: Lorraine M. (Bernard) Schopen, 90, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010, at Mountain Towers Healthcare in Cheyenne. Lorraine was born June 27, 1920, in Deadwood, South Dakota, a daughter of George and Stephanie (Manseau) Bernard. Lorraine was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Cathedral and served as an active member of the St. Mary’s Cathedral Guild. She worked faithfully as a homemaker, caring for her children, and for the past 11 years, she resided at Mountain Towers Healthcare. Lorraine is survived by two sons, Bernard Schopen of Reno, NV, and Gergory Schopen of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Ann Schopen of Cheyenne, and Barbara Gilbert of Cheyenne; five grandchildren;one step-grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
