Louis Martinez

Louis Martinez, 72, of Cheyenne died June 3, 2015 in Cheyenne. He was born April 6, 1943 in Cheyenne to Juan and Senorina Martinez. He married Gloria Sandoval on April 9, 1983 in Cheyenne. He was retired from the construction industry. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Laborer's Union, Local #1271. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Martinez, of Cheyenne; children Louis Martinez, Sandra Sanchez, Valerie Roybal and Leroy Lujan all of Cheyenne and Anthony Martinez of Rociada, NM; siblings, Joe Martinez of Rociada, NM, Ted Martinez of Las Vegas, NM, Henrietta Martinez of Rociada, NM and Emma Esquibel of Cheyenne; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Louis Martinez and Patsy Martinez. A Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the Schrader Reception Center. A Funeral Liturgy will be 2:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment of his urn will be in the Family ranch in Rociada, NM.
