Louise Nicholas, 85, passed to join her heavenly family on June 19, 2010. She was a Cheyenne resident all of her life but spent her last few years with family in Parker, Colorado. Louise was born E. Louise Christensen March 15, 1925, in Cheyenne, the first of three children born to Niels Slott Christensen and Ester Victoria Yensen Christensen. Her sister Dorothy Gunton lives in Cheyenne and Joanne Tolle lives in Cynthiana, Kentucky. She graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1943. Louise married Robert (Nick) Nicholas in 1944. Together they raised four children Pattie, Bobby, Christine, and Mary. Louise worked for many years in the kitchen at Central High School but her favorite job was with Western Ranchman Outfitters where she worked many years. It was the people she worked with that made her days pleasurable. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, her mother, her father, and one grandson, Ryan Willard. She is survived by her two sisters, her four children, eight grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren. The family suggests that remembrances of Louise may be made to the First Christian Church, 219 West 27th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
