Lucille T. Ferro loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt passed away on December 14, 2015, in Mansfield, Missouri, after an extended illness. Lucille was born January 27, 1922, in Cheyenne to Michael and Angelina Sara. She was a graduate of Cheyenne High School in 1940. She worked the family's Sara Dairy Farm until she married Steve on June 21, 1941. Many knew her fondly as "Lucia", and all remember having coffee in the kitchen and spaghetti dinners on Sunday. The house on Bent Avenue welcomed all. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Ferro; daughter, Leona A. Lindberg; parents, Michael and Angelina Sara; brothers, Bill, Dominic and Jim; sisters, Jennie, Lena and Kate; and daughter-in-law, Rita. Lucille is survived by her son, Bennie Ferro of Cheyenne; daughter, Angela K. Sullivan (David) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son-in-law, Fred Lindberg of Ava, MO; grandchildren, Lucy, Steve, Gina and David Jr.; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank-you to Rocky Ridge Nursing Home in Mansfield, MO for the loving care you gave Lucille in her final years. Visitation and a Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at 3:00 p.m.at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, December 21st at St. Mary's Cathedral. An interment service will follow at Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saint Mary's Cathedral.
