Mrs. Lucille L. (Koehn) Lass, 87, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2014, at theDavis Hospice Center. Lucille was born January 30, 1927, in Spencer, Nebraska, a daughter of the late William and Amelia (Nelson) Koehn. Lucille worked as a teacher librarian for Omaha Public Schools for 15 years until her retirement. She was active in the Telephone Pioneers with her late husband, Lawrence P. Lass, and in several Lutheran churches. She enjoyed wintering in McAllen, Texas, and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Lois (Dan) Prickett of Cheyenne; her son, Larry (Carol) Lass of Troy, ID; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, William "Sonny" Koehn. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A memory service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 30th at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church. Additional services and interment will be held on Saturday, May 3rd in Wayne, Nebraska.
