Mrs. Luella Miller Hager, 76, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 27, 2014, at Kindred Healthcare. Mrs. Hager was born October 12, 1937, in Whittier, California, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Helen G. (McCormick) Shoup. Luella worked as a checker for Albertson's until her retirement in 2006. Her happy disposition was constant, whether she was helping customers at work and spending time with her family at home. She had a bubbly personality who enjoyed being around people, and it wasn't uncommon for her to sing while at work. Her favorite pastime was shopping, and she enjoyed shopping with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies play. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Luella is survived by her husband, Jerry Hager of Cheyenne; two daughters, Kathy Vestal and husband, James, of Cheyenne, and Karin Barnes and husband, Chuck, of Casper; and five grandchildren, Kalena, Brandon, Tanner, Sara and Michael Joe. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Wayne Miller, in 1986. A memory service will be celebrated on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, with a reception to immediately follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
