Lula S. Gordon, 83, of Carpenter died October 21, 2012 at Cheyenne Healthcare. She was born January 13, 1929 in Poplar, MN to Herbert and Edna Kesselring. She married Gene Gordon on November 10, 1962 in Burns, WY. She attended Cheyenne Hills Church and was a member of western Wives and Heritage Quilting. She is survived by her children, Linda Oliverius of Cheyenne, Jeannine Metzger of Gordon, NE, Calvin Oliverius of Albin, WY and John (Charlene) Gordon of Carpenter; Grandchildren, Amanda Gordon, Sarah Gordon, David Gordon, Miranda Oliverius, Angela Oliverius, Caleb (Jessica) Metzger, Jesse Metzger and Chris Metzger; siblings, Lila Agena of Lincoln, NE, Lorna Miller of Lincoln, Cleo Frezquez of Cheyenne, Carletta Anderson of Lewellen, NE, Carolyn Choan of Hasting, NE, Leighton (Chris) Kesselring of Foley, AL, and Clinton (Loretta) Kesselring of Sidney, NE; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin Oliverius and her second husband, Gene Gordon; daughter, Sari Oliverius and a son David Oliverius. Visitation will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Schrader Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Schrader Chapel with Pastor Galen Huck officiating. Burial will follow in Carpenter Cemetery.
