Lydia M. (Romero) Mora, 69, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Monday afternoon, November 5, 2012, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Lydia was born December 18, 1942, in Maes, New Mexico, a daughter of the late Juan and Adela (Segura) Romero. Lydia was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Lydia is survived by six children, Donna Navarrete, Della Mora, Jeannie Mora, Anthony Mora, Amos Mora, and Yvonne Mora; nineteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by father, Juan Romero; her mother, Adela Romero; her sister, Helen Alarid; and her brothers, Max Romero and Marcelino Segura; A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 316 E. 6th Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, November 9th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Carr as celebrant. An interment service will follow at Olivet Cemetery. The pallbearers are Arturo Navarrete, Antonio Navarrette, Mike Mora, Carlos Salazar, Carlos Najera and Ricardo Maqueda. Expressions of sympathy in Lydia's memory may be made to the Lydia M. Mora Memorial Fund by calling her granddaughter, Raquel Navarrete at 307-421-9648. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
