Lyle Brown

Lyle L. Brown, 71, of Beatrice, Nebraska, formerly of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014. Mr. Brown was born August 5, 1943, in Fremont County, Iowa, a son of the late Wade A. and Julia M. (Melton) Brown. He was a minister for the Evangelical Wesleyan Church for many years. He was a jack-of-all-trades, supporting his family by working various jobs from painting houses to driving trucks. Lyle spent the last ten years working as a greeter at Wal-Marts in Lincoln, NE, Cheyenne, WY, and Beatrice, NE. Lyle is survived by two brothers; David (Marian) of Colorado Springs,CO, and Dale (Sharon) of West Plains, MO; a sister, Lena (Dwaine) Randle of Miltonvale, KS; his children, Nathaniel (Gabriele) Brown of Ocean Springs, MS, Philip Brown of St. George, KS, Naomi (Tim) Fulwood of Meridian, ID, and Farishna Brown of Lincoln, NE; step-daughters, Jenny Mumtaz of Linoln, NE, and Rozzy (Chris) Chace of Beatrice, NE; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Oakley; a sister, Lilah; and his wife, Audrey Brown. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A memory service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue. An interment service will be held at the Burns Cemetery.
