Makaili James “Mak” Evans, 13, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away tragically on Friday, November 5, 2021.
Mak was born June 5, 2008 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a son of Michael J. Evans and Janelle (Heaton) Jones.
Mak’s many interests included watching movies, listening to music, playing video games, camping, fishing, hiking and enjoying the warmth of a campfire. He loved riding his bike and hanging out with his friends on a daily basis. He enjoyed football, baseball and basketball, and he was a comedian by nature, always pulling a prank or making a joke with the intent to make others laugh. Mak loved to eat and his favorite meals were the expensive meals that he didn’t have to pay for. His loving character was warm and kind and he never met anyone that he couldn’t be friends with. His light was so bright that we can see that he is still with us from Heaven.
Mak is survived by his parents, Clifton and Janelle Jones and Michael Evans; siblings, Kaiser P. Cunningham, III, Angelina Milatzo, Josiah DeHerrera, Jazlyn Milatzo, Layla Robinson and Annelise Evans; and grandparents, John and Sheri Heaton, Joe and Marilyn Bellis, Clifton and Shirley Jones, and Liz (Arias) and Michael Joiner.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Mickley James Evans.
