Marcus Borrego

Marcus "Steven" Borrego died August 3, 2015 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne at the age of 73, surrounded by his family. He was born March 9, 1942, in Salt Lake City, the first child of Phyllis and Joseph Borrego. He graduated from diesel mechanic school in Salt Lake City in 1970, and carried certification in brake adjustment and inspection. Throughout the years, he was employed by various trucking companies with the latest being Triple E Trucking. In his early years his interests were being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Hunting became his priority sport with his two brothers. He was successful in drawing a moose permit and his greatest accomplishment was bagging his game as he was physically handicapped. He is survived by his siblings, JoElla (Louie) Balland of Cheyenne, and Eddie (Patricia) Borrego of Denver; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Borrego. A Funeral Liturgy will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015, at St. Mary's Cathedral. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
