Margaret Carlstead

Margaret M. Carlstead, 71, of Cheyenne passed away March 2, 2019 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born February 18, 1948 in Garden City, KA to Earl and Edna Nelsen. She married Gerald Carlstead in 1977 in Cheyenne, He passed away and she married, Marvin Genaehlich, who has since passed. She was a teacher at Our Savior Lutheran Church School and a member at the church. She is survived by her sons, Andrew Carlstead of Cheyenne and Zac (Morgan) Carlstead of Eagan, MN; granddaughter, Kysaundrya Carlstead; siblings, Norma Jean Bauder of Sterling, CO, Donald Nelsen of Oklahoma and Mark Nelsen of Garden City, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Douglas Carlstead and a grandson, Gaibryle Carlstead. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church with interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute to Our Savior Lutheran Church. Services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
