Margaret McHenry

Margaret M. McHenry, 78, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born December 20, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Tryzna) Bieniek. Margaret served in the United States Navy and it was there that she met her future husband, David E. McHenry in 1959. They married on February 18, 1961 and after moving to Cheyenne in 1978, she worked for F.E. Warren Air Force Base as a medical supply buyer. She retired in 2005 after 32 years of faithful service. Margaret's many interests included reading, camping and fishing. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary FRA. Her passion was volunteering for Toys-4-Tots. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, David McHenry; three children, Deborah (Tim) Trojovsky, Robin (Angie) McHenry and Sean (Andrea) McHenry; sister, Dorothy Gajewski; brothers, Richard Bieniek and Joe Bieniek; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Frank Bieniek. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 9:30 am. To 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a Funeral Liturgy to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A private interment will be held in Mountain View Memorial Park.
