Margaret Starrs

Margaret Starrs (94) passed away March 17, 2011 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was born May 3, 1916 in Havre, Montana, to William and Mary (Sanderson) Pyper. She married Henry Starrs in Havre, February 2, 1941. They resided in Havre until 1955 when they moved to Thermopolis, Wyoming, where they operated a hardware store until they retired. Henry preceded Margaret in death in June 2004. Margaret then moved to Cheyenne in 2006 to be closer to family. She was a resident of Pointe Frontier in Cheyenne at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Thermopolis. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Henry, sisters Edith and Virginia, and a brother Bill. She is survived by a sister Georgia Pomponio of Denver, sons Jim (Kathy) of Littleton, Colorado and Bill (Charlene) of Cheyenne, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and a nephew. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Thermopolis at a later date.
