Margaret "Peggy" Herceg

Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" S. (Parr) Herceg, 60, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012, at the Davis Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born December 18, 1951, in Cheyenne, a daughter of the late Richard and Ramona (Lewis) Parr. Peggy was a graduate of Central High School and married Eugene "Gene" Herceg on March 31, 1973, in Cheyenne. She worked as an assistant for Dr. Austin's office for 18 years, and she thoroughly enjoyed working for Sierra Trading Post for the past 10 years until her health declined. Her many interests included cooking, cleaning and taking care of her home and family. She also enjoyed researching genealogy and caring for neighborhood animals by feeding stray cats, birds, squirrels and other animals. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Peggy is survived by her son, Paul Herceg and wife, Courtney, of Cheyenne; her daughter, Stephanie Schrader and husband, David, of Minot, ND; two brothers, Dave Parr of Colorado Springs, CO, and Dean Parr and wife, Penny, of Hanna, WY; a sister, Mona Kay Parr of Cheyenne; and four grandchildren, Max Schrader, Gianna Schrader, Ava Herceg and Kaelin Herceg. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Gene Herceg on May 25, 2008. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 25th at 10:30 a.m. at the Schrader Chapel with The Reverend David Stratton officiating. Interment will be held at Beth El Cemetery. A reception will immediately follow at the Schrader Reception Center. Expressions of sympathy in Peggy's memory may be made to the Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore, Cheyenne, WY 82009.
