Margil Doggett-Hubbard

Margil was born February 25th, 1928, in Chugwater, WY and received her wings to walk with the angels, surrounded by her loving daughters and family by her side on February 16th, 2024. She lacked 9 days of her 96th birthday.

She cared deeply for her family and loved spending time with them. Margil was a master of all trades from working at Safeway in her younger days, manager of Mini Mart stores, owned and drove dump trucks, and in her last job, manager of Bourbon Street Candy at the age of 82. Just to name a few.

She loved fishing, woodworking, baking, crocheting, sewing, working in her yard, and playing the organ.

Margil is survived by her loving daughters, Cheryl Farris and her husband Don, Penny Juschka and her husband Richard, Granddaughters Connie, Michelle (Bill), Becky (Tiny), and Jamie (Chauncy). Great-Grandchildren Curtis (Kailynn), Franny, Tyler, Shelbee, Molly, Claire, Kaden and Great-Great Grandchildren Ivin, Emberlyn, and Taygen. Brothers Larry and Doc, Sisters Barbara and Sharon, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Margil was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Cliff Hubbard (2021), Husband James Doggett (1978), son Jim Doggett, grandson Jerry Farris, brothers Morris Horton, Dale Horton, Harold (Jr.) Horton, Truman Horton, sisters Ellen Clarice Brown and Dorreta Wilcox.

Margil's life will be celebrated with a  graveside service at Beth El Cemetery, on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation, in Margil's name, can be made to the Davis Hospice Center or a charity of your choice.
