Maria Monjaraz Valdez

Maria Delores Monjaraz Valdez, 82, of Cheyenne passed away May 13, 2018 in Cheyenne. She was born November 23, 1935 in Denver, CO to Juan and Petra Monjaraz. She retired from the Atlas Motel and was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, John Pena, Cindy Lou Lou Pena, Gene Pena, Benny Pena, Larry Pena, Rudy Pena; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Monjaraz. She was preceded by a son, Joseph Pena; daughter, Ernestine Pena; husbands, John Pena and Floyd Valdez; and several siblings. A Vigil for the Deceased will be Wednesday 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
