Marie Vasquez-Carrera

Marie "Elaine" Vasquez-Carrera passed away on October 6th, surrounded by family and friends. Born September 10, 1954 in Denver, Colorado raised in Cheyenne, resided in Fort Collins, Colorado for the past 30 years. Elaine was a care giver for her husband Roger. Strong loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin, friend and much more. She enjoyed Lowriding, Car shows, tattoos, dancing, traveling, but most of all being with friends and especially family. She survived by her husband, Roger Vasquez, children, Tira, Billy and wife, Andrea and Santina Carrera; sisters, Iva Jo Martinez, Phyllis Carrera, Sidney Montoya, Lisa Gallegos, Julie Trujillo, Celeste Carrera; brothers, Felix Jr., John, James, Joseph and David Carrera; grandchildren, Jasmine, Anthony Jr., Regina, Kirra, Raylynn, Levi, Katarena, Fabian, Eliysia, Roger, Shanelle, Noe; and great-grandson, Jozhias. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix "Phil" and Marie "Betty" Carrera; sisters, Felicia Musick and Elizabeth Carrera; son, Roger Lee Vasquez-Carrera and grandson, Billy James Carrera. Visitation will be Monday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Vigil for the Deceased will be Monday 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Funeral Liturgy Tuesday 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment in Olivet Cemetery.
