Marilyn Mattson

Marilyn R. Mattson-Jessen, 94, of Pine Bluffs passed away February 28, 2019 in Pine Bluffs. She was born September 17, 1924 in Dunlap, Iowa to John and Jesse Anderson. She married Herbert Mattson in Omaha, who passed away. She married John Jessen in Pine Bluffs, who also passed away. She was a farm wife and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She is survived by children, Betty (Douglas) Holgerson of Greeley, CO, Connie (John) Schmidt of Peoria, AZ, Herbert (Brenda) Mattson of Colby, KS and Joleen (Greg) Marquardt of Pine Bluffs; sister, Betty Randol of Ricketts, IA, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one brother and three sisters. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home and graveside services will be held at a later date. Condolences may be offered at www.schradercares.com.
