Marilyn Yorges-Larson

Marilyn Sue Yorges-Larson, 67, of Cheyenne died October 17, 2012 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born January 18, 1945 in El Reno, OK to Ed and Alice Scott. She married Lee Starr in June, 1963 in Wheatland, WY. Together they had 2 children, Darrin and Vanette and they later divorced. She married Don Yorges in September, 1970 in Wheatland. They had 2 children, D.J. and Alison, they also divorced. She married the love of her life, Dale Larson on November 11, 1983 in Wheatland, he preceded her in death. She retired from the State of Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board as a licensing specialist. She was a member of the Wheatland United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Vanette Starr of Fort Collins, CO, Darrin Starr of Cheyenne, D.J. (Wendy) Yorges of Groton, CT and Alison (Lance) Wooster of Cheyenne; sisters, Karen Kwedor of Casper, Bonnie Billings of Wheatland, and Cheri Warner of Guernsey: seven grandchildren, Lacey (Sean) Perry, Landon (Anne White) Starr-Smith, Shaina Starr, Morgan Starr, Legacy Marsolek, Chanse Starr-Stock and Breeze Stock; great-grandchildren, Jayde Perry, Alyssa Perry, Austin Perry, Brody Starr-Smith and Baylee White and a very dear life-time friend, Rosemary Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Larson, parents, Ed and Alice Scott. Those who wish may contribute to the Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore Rd., Cheyenne, WY 82009, PAWS, P.O. Box 1501 Wheatland, WY 82201, or Wheatland Old Grads in care of Rosemary Jenkins in Wheatland, WY. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., October 27 at the Wheatland United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life reception will be 2:00 p.m., October 28th in the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
