Marjorie Larson

Marjorie W. Larson, 89, of Albin died August 5, 2012 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born July 7, 1923 in Council Bluffs, IA to Allan Eugene and Mary Jane Holt. She married Richard R. Larson on November 7, 1952 in Albin. She was a member of Albin Baptist Church and Cheyenne Hills Church. She obtained degrees at Pepperdine University and the Bible Institute of Los Angeles. She is survived by her husband, Richard Larson of Albin, daughters and spouses, Dr. Trenette Larson (Bill Barkley) of Cheyenne, Gloria (Dick) Durston of Highlands Ranch, CO and Mary Jane (David) Forester of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Emily (Noah) Harkless, Lindsay Durston, Tiffany (Brian) Erickson, Heather (Korey) Kudebeh, Chelsey (Kyle) Griess, Brittany Jayne Forester (Jerrick Romero), William R. Barkley, Preston Forester, Randall Forester; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Erickson. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Caryl Kerber, Mary Alice Holt, Florence Holt and Evelyn Peterson. Funeral services will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. at the Albin Community Center with Reverend Richard Durston and Pastor Dick Young officiating. Burial will be in Albin Cemetery followed by a Luncheon Fellowship in the Albin Community Center. A viewing will take place prior to services at the Albin Community Center. Pallbearers will be Bill Barkley, Dick Durston, David Forerster, William Barkley, Preston Forester and Randall Forester. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken Malm, Kenneth Lundberg, and Miguel Chavez. Those who wish may contribute to OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship) International, 10 West Dry Creek Circle, Littleton, CO 80120. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
