Marjorie Romsa

Mrs. Marjorie B. (Gassett) Romsa, 96, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at her home at Sierra Hills Assisted Living Center on Thursday, August 29, 2013. Mrs. Romsa was born February 3, 1917, in Cheyenne, a daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Bowman) Gassett. Marjorie will be remembered as a ranch wife who loved to care for her home and her family. Marjorie is survived by her son, Larry Romsa of Laramie, WY; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Albert Romsa; her son, Jerry Romsa; her brother, Lester Gassett; three sisters, Florence Andresen, Verla Van Horn and Louise Layman; and a granddaughter, Julie Romsa. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Schrader Chapel with The Revered Bob Garrard and The Reverend Diana Hartman co-officiating. An interment service will follow at Beth El Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Mrs. Romsa's memory may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
