Marjorie Thelen

Marjorie L. Thelen, 90, of Cheyenne died December 2, 2014 in Cheyenne. She was born December 15, 1923 in Arnegard, ND to Arthur and Mina Stenehjem. She married Frank Thelen on July 9, 1945 in Denver. She was a registered Nurse and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, David Thelen of North Platte, NE, Frank Thelen of North Las Vegas, NV and Kathryn Rogers of Sherwood, AR; sibling, Ruth Coleman of Arizona,; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Thelen; siblings, Geneva Larson, Maynard Stenehjem, Ralph Stenehjem, Edgar Stenehjem and Oliver Stenehjem, and a grandson, Brian Thelen. Those who wish may contribute to the Mountain States Children's Home, 14780 North 107th Street, Longmont, CO 80504. A Vigil for the deceased will be 7:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be 10:00 a.m.at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
