Mark Allen Adams, 51, of Mesquite, Nevada, died September 14, 2013, in Mesquite. He was born April 9, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Donald and Ilene Adams. He graduated from Central High School where he was very active in the DECA program and serving as the DECA State President during the 1979-1980 school years. He attended the University of Wyoming earning his bachelor and master degrees in education He worked as an Educational Specialist for LCSD #1 and retired as a school administrator. He was a leader in entrepreneurship and spoke at several conferences teaching people how to start their own businesses. He was a member of Mesquite United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed singing with the choir. He is survived by his sons, Jonathan (Kayla) Adams of Spearfish, SD, and Joshua Adams of Cheyenne; his siblings, Michael Adams of Goodyear, AZ, Dean Adams of Cheyenne, Donald Adams of Litchfield Park, AZ, and Georgia (David) Adams Broyles of Cheyenne; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Mary J. Adams of Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013, at the Schrader Chapel followed by a reception in the Schrader Reception Center. A private burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute to the Jonathan and Joshua Adams Scholarship Fund at Cheyenne- Laramie County Employee Federal Credit Union.
