Martha Alex

Martha Alex, 93, of Cheyenne died August 3, 2013 at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO. She was born December 6, 1919 in Kesare, Greece to Christos and Eleni Lapaseotes. She married Theodore Alex in November of 1955 in Bayard, NE. She was a seamstress and also retired from the State of Wyoming. She was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philptochos. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (John) Karubus of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandson, Christian; niece, JoAnn Meares and nephews, Dimitri and Christos Andrikopoulos and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A Trisagion Service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church with interment to follow in Beth El Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 501 W. 27th St., Cheyenne, WY 82001.
