Memorial Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 28 at Homestead Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Gregory officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 27, at Schrader Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Marvin K. Stuart, 66, of Carpenter passed away on August 24, 2010 in Carpenter. He was born on April 2, 1944 in Riverview, Missouri, the son of Raymond Elmer Stuart and Violet Jean Beall. Marvin served in the U.S. Air Force, in which, he received the Bronze Star. He later worked as a mechanic for the trucking industry. On November 6, 1965, he married Larita Ornee Petersen in Denver, Colorado. They had two children, a son, Mark Edward Stuart and a daughter, Melissa Ann Stuart. Marvin is survived by his wife, Larita P. Stuart of Carpenter; his son, Mark Edward Stuart of Cheyenne and a daughter, Melissa Ann Ipsen (Cody) of Burns and 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers, Stanley Ray Stuart (Diane) of Taneyville, Missouri, Daniel Farris Stuart (Patricia) of Hollister, Missouri and a sister, Marilyn Kay France (Garland) of Hartville, Missouri. He is preceded by his parents, Raymond and Violet Stuart. Cremation will take place at Schrader’ss Sunset Park Crematory following services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Homestead Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
