Mary Aymor

February 1, 1920 — November 23, 2015

Mary Elizabeth Aymor, 95, of Cheyenne passed away November 23, 2015 at Lifecare Center of Cheyenne. She was born February 1, 1920 in Torrington, WY. Mary lived a long and productive country life. She owned a beauty shop and had many "regular" clients. She enjoyed working with stained glass and was active in her bowling league at Two Bar Bowl up until the last two years. These were special memories for her. Survivors include her sisters Laura Wilson (Claude), Nora Shaugh (Bud) and Elsie Hinrichsen; three granddaughters, Lila Henderson, Pam Turpin and Kelly Kane; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a good friend, Lurlene, who came to visit her and check on her almost every day. The family is grateful she had such a loving, protective friend. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Mervel Gaudern; and her husband, Alec Aymor. Later, she met Charley Manley, who was her longtime companion. He preceded her in death as well. She also was preceded in death by both of her daughters, Mary Lynn Manley and her husband George, and Nancy Grimm; her brothers, Jack, William, Richard, Harold and Gilbert; and one sister, Wyoma. A memorial reception will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Kiwanis Community House, located at 4603 Lions Park Drive in Cheyenne. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
