Mary Jane Beechler, 97, of the Albin Community died July 30,, 2014, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mary was born April 8, 1917, in Coleraine, Minnesota, to Willard and Cora Hunter. She graduated from Greenway High School in Coleraine in 1935. She practiced her passion of interior decorating with Barker Brothers and May Company. She helped with the war effort by inspecting gliders. She spent her later years as a real estate agent before moving out to Laramie County. Mary hosted women's bible study and prayer meeting for years in her home. She was loved by all who knew her. She attended the Golden Prairie Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and found great delight in her grandchildren and loved baking cookies for them. Mary is survived by her son, Steve Beechler and wife, Debbie, of Reno, NV; her daughter, Suzi Eklund and husband, John, of Albin; three grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Mardon Beechler; and a granddaughter, Kari Beechler. A memory service will be celebrated on Monday, August 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Golden Prairie Baptist Church in Burns, Wyoming, with Pastor Andy Moore officiating.
