Mary Lopez

Mary S. Lopez, 78, of Cheyenne passed away on August 2, 2016 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1937 in Ault, CO to Ben and Felicity Torrez. She married Floyd Lopez on May 13, 1957 in Greeley. She was past head housekeeper / inspector for Little America. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge. She delighted in preparing Sunday dinners for the family, and sewing for her grandkids and her love for the art of Thomas Kincade. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Lopez of Cheyenne; children, June (Paul) Wood, Floyd (Debbie) Lopez, Rudy Lopez, Lisa Howell and Debbie (Todd) Jones all of Cheyenne; grandchildren , Joseph, David, Nicole, Brianne, Carly, Marion, Kayleigh, Julian, Angelo, Eddie, Austin and Lacy; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Alexander, Kaliyah, Raelee, Marissa, Avianna, Fulton, Christopher, Morgan, Kalee and Austin; 11 brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Those who wish may contribute to the American Heart Association, 1807 Capitol Ave. Ste. 109, Cheyenne, WY 82001 A Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Olivet Cemetery.
