Mary Josephine Savory Lynch, "Jo", died April 26, 2013 at CRMC. Jo was born June 18, 1933 in St. Joseph, MO to Dr. Gerald B. and Nora Finnerty Savory. She lived in Cheyenne, WY, graduated from St. Mary's High, and attended Loretto Heights Women's College in Denver, CO, before graduating from the University of Wyoming in 1955. Jo taught school until her marriage to John F. Lynch in Cheyenne on June 10, 1958. They had four only children, known as The Lynch Mob; Katheryne "Katie", John F. III, Timothy, and Patrick. She spent the next 16 years raising The Mob, volunteering, and involved in many Church, and service organizations. Jo was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Cathedral Guild, St. Anthony's Circle, Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club, and many other organizations. Josephine was never more pleased than when her Lynch Mob began expansion, first with her favorite son-in-law, Craig Pindell, then with daughters-in-law, Kim Lynch, Shelly Lynch, and Kirsten Crist. Jo is survived by daughter, Katie Lynch and her husband Craig Pindell of Cheyenne; sons John F. Lynch III and wife Kimberly Rector Lynch, their children, Rachel Anne and John F. Lynch IV, of Denver, CO; Timothy and Shelly Stueve Lynch, their children Daniel Darragh and Thomas Tadhg Lynch, of Ft. Collins, CO; and Patrick Lynch and Kirsten Crist of Denver, CO. Jo is also survived by dozens of nephews and nieces, many great nephews and nieces, cousins, and several good friends. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Gerald B. and Nora Savory, her Brother, Gerald B. Savory, Jr., and her beloved husband, John F. Lynch. Vigil for the deceased will be Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral.
