Mary Pixley

Mary Ann Pixley, 63, of Cheyenne passed away on November 4, 2016 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born August 2, 1953 in Cheyenne to Fred and Rosie Freeman. She married Mike Pixley on October 31, 1970 in Cheyenne. She worked in food services for Laramie County School District #1 and was a member of Zion Congregational Church. She is survived by her husband Mike Pixley; daughter, Shelly Pixley; grandchildren, Alea (Ashley) West, Zakory (Sierra) Phillips, Michael H. Pixley and Amanda (James) Vaughn; great-grandson, Michael S. Pixley; numerous other family including Natalie Freeman Thrailkill, Lance White, Richard Wiederspahn, John Wiederspahn, Janet Haught, Carol Crump and Delores Wiederspahn; special friends, Barbie Coonts, Barbara Davis, Terry Van Dorn, Jacye Freeman, Jackie Basset and Darla Breazaele. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rosie Freeman; son, Todd Pixley; and a brother, Gary Freeman. Those who wish may contribute to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Davis Hospice Center. Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
