Mary Sanchez

Mary C. Sanchez, 74, of Rawlins died February 4, 2012 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. She was born November 12, 1937 in Costilla, NM to Gilbert and Maria DeHerrera. She married Alfonso Sanchez on July 21, 1956 in Rawlins. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Churches in Rawlins and Cheyenne. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Dino Sanchez and Ricky Sanchez , both of Rawlins, WY; daughter, Kathy Halvorsen of Cheyenne; siblings, Leo DeHerrera of Rawlins, Abe DeHerrera of Cheyenne, Ruth Gonzales of Cheyenne, Gloria Horne of Cheyenne, Angie Watson of Cheyenne EstherHerrera of Cheyenne and Betty Tollis of Cheyenne; eleven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Sanchez; children, Debra Garcia, Sammy Sanchez, Rita Sanchez and Jennifer Sanchez, a grandson, Ray Garcia, Jr.; and her parents Gilbert and Maria DeHerrera.
