Mason Register

Mason Steven Register embarked on his journey to heaven Friday, December 30, 2016. Mason was born into the loving arms of Gabrielle (Kemp) Register on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, in Cheyenne, WY. During his short but fierce life Mason embraced his love for learning and developed a passion for dinosaurs. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan (GO DENVER) with aspirations to be the next hall of fame player. He enjoyed going for rides on the motorcycle with his Papa, making pizzas with his Nana, and going to church with his Uncle Roger. Some of our fondest memories are spontaneous Nerf war battles, trips to the museum, and furniture shopping because he had to try out every piece. Mason wasn't a huge morning fan, but on the off chance he beat you out of bed you were to be greeted with an explosive but forever memorable, "good morning Mom, and good morning Dad." Mason loved to play games and was incredibly competitive. He especially loved to play Twister with his Aunt Katie and "Untle Pomas." Some of Mason's other favorite games consisted of "oh-no" (Uno) and What Dinosaur Am I? (We still don't know.) Mason is survived by his parents, Gabrielle (Kemp) Register and Joshua Sherman of Cheyenne; grandparents, Rodney and Corrie Kemp of Cheyenne, and Keith and Sherri Register of Charlotte, NC; great-grandparents, Bob and Anne Merritt of Rhodes, MI, Ken and Libby Hamilton of Pittsboro, NC,and John and Kathy Meissner of Midland, MI; great-aunts and uncles, Roger Kemp of Cheyenne, Rusty and Tracy Kemp of Sumner, MI, and Boyd and Dee Meissner of Rhodes, MI; aunts and uncles, Jeremy and Nicole Kemp of Sumner, MI, and Thomas Mitchell and Kaitlyn Ryel of Lincoln, CA; and cousins, Christa, Shaelyn, Taylor, Darren, Nicholas, Jerzey, and Jeremiah. Mason is blessed to be part of a large, loving family with many great-great-aunts and uncles, friends at Smiley Kids Daycare and many more as Mason truly never knew a stranger. Mason was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mary Kemp. A memory service will be celebrated on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
