Maxine Leona Allen Vosler

Mrs.Maxine Leona Allen Vosler, 93, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Saturday evening, May 31, 2014, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Vosler was born May 19, 1921, in Hastings, Nebraska, a daughter of the late John V. and Ruth L. (Van Meter) Sadler. As a young person, Maxine worked in the ammunition dump in Hastings and was also a graduate of Juniata High School. She worked 19 years in the Sears Catalog Department as a clerk, and she volunteered 20 years for the Old West Museum. She was a member of the First Christian Church and past member of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and AARP. Maxine is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Vosler; six children, Mike Vosler, Scott Vosler, Dottie Jean Buckley, Todd Vosler, Valree Sue Lopez and Cecil Vosler; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Beth El Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
