Melvia Stouffer

Melvia "Mel" M. Stouffer, 81, of Cheyenne died November 15, 2015 in Loveland, CO. She was born January 27, 1934 in Sheldon, WI to Dallas and Bernice Wood. She married John H. Stouffer on August 27, 1971 in Cheyenne. She was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith. She is survived by her children, Steven Thompson of Pine Bluffs, WY, Jo Ann Prado of Summerset, TX, Sue Mordhorst of Cheyenne, Edward Thompson of Pine Bluffs, WY, Larry Thompson of Kimball, NE, Greg Thompson of Waco, TX, John Stouffer of Cheyenne and Allen Stouffer of Loveland; sister Alice Schneider of Waterloo, IA; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister, Hazel Benisch. Services will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the Schrader Reception Center. Services and cremation are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Those who wish may contribute to the Pathways Hospice in Ft. Collins, Co or Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.
