Michael Bunten

Michael Paul Bunten, 55, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 27, 2017. Michael was born September 6, 1961, at Selfridge Air Force Base, Michigan. He graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1980 and received a graduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado. He married Audrey Bourg September 5, 1998. He owned Bunten Landscape. He was a former Master Counselor of Demolay. He is survived by his mother, Paula Baldeshwiler; sisters, Cynthia (Tim) Miller, and Deborah (Allen) White; nieces and nephews, Danielle (Jose) Curo, Connor Peterson, Makenzie (Justin) Holloway, Garrett, Bridger, Delanie, Brookelynn, and Kambrie White; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Gary Gaffner; adoptive father, John Bunten, Sr., stepfather, Vernon Baldeshwiler; brother, John Bunten, Jr.; great-nephew, Trent Peterson; and his grandparents. Vistiation will be Monday 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Beth El Cemetery.
