Michael Carter

Michael E. Carter, 52, of Cheyenne passed away July 28, 2019 in Cheyenne. He was born January 25, 1967 in Cheyenne to Thomas and Ruth Carter. He was a gifted song writer, inspired by music, and was a leadman in the bands, Citadel and Nemesis. He was a person who could do an excellent job in refinishing furniture. He is survived by his daughter, Sarah (Kyle) Milsap of Washington; mother, Ruth Siler of Cheyenne; father, Thomas Carter of Lubbock, TX; siblings, Thomas (Donna) Carter, Jr. of Cheyenne, Brenda (Mike) Stadnik of Cheyenne, Jeff Carter of Sheridan, WY and Jennifer (David) Smith of Williston, ND; aunt Ricki of Cheyenne and numerous nieces and nephews. Those who wish may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at 3001 Douglas Street.
