Michael Dean Chestnutt

Michael Chestnutt was born in Topeka, Kansas on November 9 1962.  He was the second son of Lillie and Jimmy Chestnutt.  Mike and his family moved often due to Jimmy’s military career.  He spent many years in Germany and really loved it.  In 1981 he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Cheyenne.  In 1982 he met Dawn Miller and they married in January 1983.  They welcomed their first child, Christopher in 1984 followed by Alyssa in 1986.  Mike left the military and began a long career in civil service at FE Warren.  He retired in 2013 and became a care giver for his autistic grandson.  Mike enjoyed fantasy role playing and reading in his spare time.  He was also a great cook and loved being the chef at family gatherings.  Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, children and grandson.  He will be deeply missed.
