Michael Pitts

Michael John Pitts, born October 29, 1953, in Claremont, NH, passed away Monday, March 3rd, 2014 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. Michael moved to Cheyenne 13 years ago to continue work at Grobet USA. He later became a security officer supervisor at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. In January of 2011 he received the "Presidents Special Achievement Pride Certificate" for world class customer service. Michael had a very strong work ethic, and was very dedicated to his family. He also loved fishing and cooking and hoped to one day open his own restaurant. Michael had the best sense of humor and always helped people, no matter the situation. He was the type of person to walk on the outside of you in case something was to happen it would get him first. Michael is survived by his children; Sammi Jo Pitts and Ricky Pitts and their little ones. He was a very proud Grandpa! A 14 year old German Shepard named Kane and a lifelong companion, Jo A. Myers. Here's to you, and here's to me, and may we never disagree, but if we do, then here's to me and * you. Services will be held at a later date.
