Michael L. "Mike" Sabin, 63, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on May 11, 2016, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born March 31, 1953, in Tupper Lake, New York, to Donald and Marlene Sabin. He married the love of his life, Earlene Eldridge, on September 25, 1982, in Sun Valley, ID. He was at one time a ski instructor and had owned a ski and bike shop in Tupper Lake and most recently was a landman in the oil industry. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Earlene Sabin of Cheyenne; parents, Donald and Marlene Sabin of Tupper Lake, NY; siblings, Lynn Marie Sabin of Port Charlotte, FL, Katherine Ann Sabin (Ray Woodford) of Syracuse, NY, Diane Mary Denneny (Tom) of Sterling, VA, John Matthew Sabin (Theresa) of Hawarden, IA, and Paul James Sabin (Teresa) of Tacoma, WA; and his beloved pet, Scout. He was also the beloved "uncle" of Krista and Lauren Butterwei, Claire, Caitlin and Meghan Denneny, and Jason, Heather, Catherine and James Sabin; and several cousins. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association or the Wild Center Museum of Tupper Lake, NY. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a memory service at 10:00 a.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
