Michelle Bates

Mrs. Michelle R. "Shelley" (Perry) Bates, 30, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013. Shelley was born August 27th, 1982, in Fort Collins, Colorado, the daughter of Mark Perry and Shawne (Phoenix) Perry. She is survived by her loving husband, Brandon Bates; three children, Hannah, Kayden, and new baby, Jonas; her father, Mark Perry and wife Allison; her mother, Shawne Perry; her brother, Nick; her mother-in-law, Karen Johnson; her father-in-law, John Bates; and her sister-in-law, Brenda Hildreth. Shelley pursued a career in cosmetology, graduating from Hair Dynamics of Fort Collins, and became a licensed cosmetologist. She loved her family dearly and delighted in engaging in many different family activities. She loved doing craftwork, especially photo collaging, and enjoyed reading. Shelley was recognized for her role as an "Active Member" of the Soldiers Angels by sacrificing her time to help support those wounded in combat operations as well as supporting the families of soldiers that were wounded or killed in action. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 10th, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel with The Reverend Delbert Hansen officiating. An interment service will be held at Beth El Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Schrader Reception Center. Expressions of sympathy in Shelley's memory may be made to the Michelle R.
