Mona Parr

Mona Parr, 69, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mona was born September 20, 1946, in Cheyenne, a daughter of the late Richard Leroy and Ramona Irene (Lewis) Parr. As a final wish, Mona was baptized as a Catholic prior to her death. She is survived by two children, Mona Holloway and Steve Holloway; two brothers, Dean Parr and wife, Penny, and David Parr; and five nieces and nephews, Paul Herceg, Stephanie Schrader, Angie Parr, Cyndi Parr and René Kelley. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Peggy Herceg. The family will hold a Funeral Liturgy to be celebrated on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 4:00p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father August Koeune as celebrant. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the American Lung Society.
