Nancy Louise Martin Cassidy, 77, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed into the Lord's hands on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Davis Hospice Center. Nancy was born on January 25, 1942 in Amory, Mississippi, the fifth child of seven children to Sidney P. and Alma G. Martin. Nancy is survived by her children, James Benjamin "Jay" Cassidy of Cheyenne and Letitia Marie Buresh-Magelitz and husband, Allan, of Cheyenne; grandson, Devin Lee Buresh of Cheyenne; and great-grandson, Andrew Buresh of Cheyenne; sister, Julia Martin-Welsh and husband, Ronald; brother, Robert Edwin Martin, and wife, Ruby; three sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Edmond Cassidy; four brothers; three sisters-in-law; all of her aunts and uncles; and two great-nephews. Her family can not put into words the heart break that they feel. She was the most amazing woman. As a mother raising two children and working two jobs, she demonstrated strength and determination. Just like this past year, she never gave up, kept smiling and pushed forward. She showed all of us how to love life every day, how to be kind and understanding to the people around us - friends, family and even strangers. She worked as a volunteer for the Veterans Administration, and she loved helping people. If you met our mom, then you probably loved her. Simple as that! She was a sister, daughter, mother and a blessing to all! Private services will be held at the convenience of the family . Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Donations in Nancy's memory may be made
